FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The arraignment hearings for a trio accused of manslaughter have been delayed again.

Katlin Cota, Dyllon Cazes and Ethan Dore were all arrested earlier in the summer after a person died in late June in the parking lot of Fort St. John Alliance Church on 99th Avenue.

All three were charged with manslaughter following their arrests. The trio were set to appear in court on Monday, September 8th for arraignment hearings.

However, according to a representative from the BC Prosecution Service (BCPS), the hearing was adjourned and will now be held on Monday, September 22nd.

According to the Provincial Court of British Columbia’s website, arraignment hearings are “usually the hearing where [the accused will] plead guilty or not guilty to the criminal charge.”

Meanwhile, the Fort St. John RCMP detachment’s investigation into the incident continues.
