City of Fort St. John announces 2025 Community Award nominees
The nominees for Fort St. John’s 2025 Community Awards have been revealed. The winners will be announced on stage during Moose FM’s Block Party on September 6th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The nominees for Fort St. John’s 2025 Community Awards have been revealed.
The awards, which have four categories, recognize outstanding youth, individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations that make a positive impact on the community, the City of Fort St. John says.
The city also boasts a diverse group of dedicated residents, volunteers and organizations who make up the nominees.
The 2025 Community Award nominees are:

- Bailey Gauvin-Mayes
- Cameron McGuire
- Catherine Marie Reimer
- Elevate Youth
- Fort St. John Hospital Auxiliary
- Gail Weber
- Jordan Soggie
- Justina Harder
- Karen Mason-Bennett
- Margaret and Jim Little
- Michael Ortynsky
- North Peace Light Horse Association
- North Peace Optometry Clinic
- Sheila McLeod
- Wellness Truth and Family Foundation
“Each of these nominees reflects the heart and soul of Fort St. John,” said Acting Mayor Sarah MacDougall.
“Their commitment to improving our city is truly inspiring. Whether through volunteerism, leadership or community service, they remind us of the power we all have to create lasting change for our community.”

The winners will be announced during the 18th annual Community Awards ceremony, held at the stage on 103rd Avenue as part of the Moose FM Block Party on September 6th.
Moose FM is owned by Moose Media, the same parent company as Energeticcity.ca.
The ceremony begins at 12 p.m.
