FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Below are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Fort Nelson Provincial Courts from June 9th to 27th.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, June 9th
Peggy Lee Davis (born 1979):
Davis was found guilty of driving while prohibited and/or with a suspended licence for an incident in Fort St. John on May 8th, 2024.
Davis was issued a $600 fine and a $90 victim surcharge, which goes towards helping the victims of a crime. Davis also received a one-year driving prohibition.
Calvin Albert Jones (born 1983):
Jones was found guilty of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and driving while prohibited and/or with a suspended licence for an incident in Wonowon on July 11th, 2024.
Latest Stories
Jones was sentenced to jail time served and received a $500 fine and a one-year driving prohibition.
Kelly David Miller (born 1964):
Miller was issued a conditional discharge for one count of killing or injuring an animal related to an incident in Hudson’s Hope on September 3rd, 2023.
A conditional discharge means the record won’t show a conviction if a person meets the conditions the judge sets.
Miller also received a one-year probation order and a $100 victim surcharge.
Byron Terry Pilgrim (born 1981):
Pilgrim was found guilty of assault for an incident in Fort St. John that took place on June 22nd, 2024.
Pilgrim was issued a conditional discharge, a 12-month probation order and a $100 victim surcharge.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, June 10th
Tyrel Faron Conley (born 2002):
Conley was found guilty of operation while over a blood alcohol content of 80 for an incident in Charlie Lake on March 29th, 2024.
Conley was issued a $1,000 fine, a $100 victim surcharge and a one-year driving prohibition.
Zury Kennedy Reschke (born 2001):
Reschke was found guilty of two counts of robbery for an incident in Fort St. John on June 3rd, 2023.
Reschke was sentenced to a combined total of 908 days of jail time and received two 10-year firearm prohibitions.
Trevor Jacob Fennell (born 1999):
Fennell was found guilty of the following charges, related to incidents across B.C.:
- Driving while prohibited and/or with a suspended licence
- Theft $5,000 or under (eight counts)
- Theft of a motor vehicle (two counts)
- Breaking and entering with intent to commit an offence
- Breach of undertaking (three counts)
- Breach of recognizance
Fennell was sentenced to a combined total of 54 days in jail in addition to time served.
Fennell was also issued $900 in victim surcharges, two one-year driving prohibitions, ordered to report for DNA sample collection and ordered to pay a combined total of $28,125.19 in restitution, which requires the offender to pay the victim for financial losses the victim suffered because of the crime.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, June 11th
Amanda Marie Germain (born 1989):
Germain was found guilty of two counts of refusal for incidents in Fort St. John that took place in July and August 2023. Germain was fined $4,500 and issued two one-year driving prohibitions.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, June 11th
Pamela Marie Savard (born 1982):
Savard was found guilty of driving while prohibited and/or with a suspended licence for an incident in Chetwynd on July 13th, 2024. Savard was fined $1,000 and issued a $150 victim surcharge.
Derek Robert James Ward (born 1993):
Ward was found guilty of one count of mischief and two counts of breaching a release order for an incident in Arras on May 11th, 2025. Ward was sentenced to jail time served.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, June 16th
Missouri Clayton Cooper Abney (born 1984):
Abney was found guilty of breaching a probation order for an incident in Fort St. John on October 30th, 2024. Abney was fined $500 and issued a $75 victim surcharge.
Andrew James Arenburg (born 1987):
Arenburg was found guilty of driving while prohibited and/or with a suspended licence for an incident in Prince George on June 2nd, 2024. Arenburg was fined $1,000 and issued a $150 victim surcharge.
Terrence Darren Alexander Field (born 2001):
Field was found guilty of mischief $5,000 or under for an incident in Halfway River on June 1st, 2024. Field was issued a conditional discharge and a six-month probation order.
John William Hutchinson (born 1992):
Hutchinson was found guilty of driving while prohibited and/or with a suspended licence for an incident in Taylor on October 20th, 2024.
Hutchinson was fined $500 and issued a $75 victim surcharge.
Malcolm Donald Leask (born 1982):
Leask was issued a $500 recognizance after the allegation for an incident in Rose Prairie on January 3rd, 2024. If Leask fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court, they must pay the $500.
Clint Brian Martyshuk (born 1970):
Martyshuk was issued a $500 recognizance after the allegation for an incident in Fort St. John on March 23rd, 2025. If Martyshuk fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court, they must pay the $500.
Delphus Junior Denis Metecheah (born 2005):
Metecheah was found guilty of assault and mischief for an incident in Halfway River on June 29th, 2024. Metecheah was issued a conditional discharge and two 12-month probation orders.
Metecheah was also issued a $500 recognizance after the allegation for an incident in Fort St. John on October 21st, 2024. If Metecheah fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court, they must pay the $500.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, June 17th
Allan Brian Allarie (born 1965):
Allarie was found guilty of theft $5,000 or under and mischief $5,000 or under for an incident in Fellers Heights on February 10th, 2024. Allarie was issued a suspended sentence, where the accused is given conditions to follow, and two six-month probation orders.
Leo William Cameron (born 1990):
Cameron was found guilty of mischief $5,000 or under for an incident in Dawson Creek on October 20th, 2024. Cameron was issued a suspended sentence and a one-year probation order.
Brandon William Francis Walker (born 1997):
Walker was found guilty of failing to report the loss or theft of a firearm or weapon for an incident in Dawson Creek on July 16th, 2024. Walker was issued a suspended sentence, a $500 fine, a $150 victim surcharge and a one-year firearm prohibition.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, June 23rd
Jack Edward Christian (born 2005):
Christian was found guilty of dangerous operation of a conveyance, breach of an undertaking and failure to comply with a sentence/surcharge/disposition for incidents in Fort St. John and Taylor between February and August 2024.
Christian was fined a combined total of $1,000, issued $300 in victim surcharges, ordered to pay $500 in restitution, received a six-month driving prohibition and sentenced to jail time served.
Harpreet Singh Dhaliwal (born 1984):
Dhaliwal was found guilty of failure to stop and breach of recognizance for incidents in Fort St. John in September 2023 and October 2024.
Dhaliwal received a conditional discharge and was issued $500 in fines, $200 in victim surcharges, a 12-month probation order and a six-month driving prohibition.
Dwayne Kyle Munch (born 2002):
Munch was found guilty of breaching a probation order, mischief and six counts of theft $5,000 or under for incidents in Fort St. John between August 2023 and July 2024.
Munch was issued a four-month conditional sentence and an 18-month probation order. A conditional sentence is a sentence to be served outside of jail under strict conditions, sometimes called ‘house arrest.’
Fort Nelson Provincial Court sentencing, June 23rd
Arthur Adolphus Capot Blanc (born 1993):
Capot Blanc was found guilty of breach of recognizance for an incident in Fort Nelson on December 22nd, 2023.
Capot Blanc was issued a suspended sentence and a 15-month probation order.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, June 24th
Trevor Dillon Hanson (born 1980):
Hanson was issued a $100 recognizance after the allegation for an incident in Fort St. John that took place on October 11th, 2024. If Hanson fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court, they must pay the $500.
Christopher Lee Schreyer (born 1980):
Schreyer was found guilty of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose for an incident in Fort St. John on January 19th, 2025.
Schreyer was issued a conditional discharge, a one-year probation order, a three-year firearm prohibition and a $100 victim surcharge.

Denise Louise Jobin (born 1981):

William Gordon Lynde (born 1965):
Lynde was found guilty of theft $5,000 or under for an incident in Dawson Creek on February 17th, 2025. Lynde was issued a conditional discharge and a six-month probation order.
Fort Nelson Provincial Court sentencing, June 24th
Joshua Robert William Forbes (born 1998):
Forbes was found guilty of uttering threats and mischief $5,000 or under for an incident in Fort Nelson on September 12th, 2024.
Forbes was sentenced to jail time served, ordered to report for DNA sample collection, issued $400 in victim surcharges and received an 18-month probation order and a three-year firearm prohibition.
Curtis Joseph Gosselin (born 1982):
Gosselin was found guilty of assault causing bodily harm for an incident in Fort Nelson on October 8th, 2023.
Gosselin was issued a $750 fine, $100 victim surcharge, 15-month probation order and ordered to report for DNA sample collection.

Melissa Isabel Moore (born 1981):
Moore was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention for an incident in Fort Nelson on August 7th, 2021. Moore was issued a $500 fine, a $75 victim surcharge and a 12-month probation order.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, June 26th
Nolan Clinton Douglas Marshall (born 1993):
Marshall was found guilty of assault for an incident in Dawson Creek on October 16th, 2023.
Marshall was issued a three-month conditional sentence, a 12-month probation order, a $100 victim surcharge and ordered to report for forfeiture, which allows the government to seize property and assets ‘tainted’ by crime.
Fort Nelson Provincial Court sentencing, June 26th
Staci Marie Badine (born 1992):
Badine was issued a $500 recognizance after the allegation for an incident in Fort Nelson on December 30th, 2023. If Badine fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court, they must pay the $500.
