Drivers warned of road closures in Fort St. John

The City of Fort St. John announced several road closures throughout the municipality on June 10th.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Several roads are being closed around Fort St. John for repaving, repairs and sewer work. 

On June 10th, the City of Fort St. John announced three road closures where crews are working.

According to the city, 100th Avenue between 104th and 108th streets will be closed in alternating directions to mill and repave.

This work started on the 10th and will continue until June 16th. 

Another construction crew will be working at 96th Street at 101st Avenue, which will be closed throughout the day on June 10th to install a sewer connection for the senior housing complex project

Lastly, 92nd Street at 101st Avenue will be closed for pothole repair, which is expected to be completed today, June 10th.
