The Dawson Creek RCMP is investigating a “suspicious death” involving human remains discovered on April 14th.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — The Dawson Creek RCMP is investigating a “suspicious death” in the city. 

The RCMP say human remains were discovered in an unspecified location on Monday, April 14th. 

Officers say they are in the early stages of the investigation and have called in the E Division Major Crime division.

“North District Major Crime investigators are working quickly to capture all available evidence,” said BC RCMP Major Crime Unit superintendent Sanjaya Wijayakoon.  

“Our teams will be there in the coming days and weeks, speaking to anyone with information to advance the investigation.”

The Dawson Creek RCMP says it will release more information as it becomes available and anyone with information related to the case should contact the detachment at 250-784-3700.
