UPDATE: School buses cancelled in SD60 & SD59 for Wednesday
School buses in School District 60 are cancelled for Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – School buses in School District 60 are cancelled for Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
School District 60 announced Tuesday night that buses would not run on February 5, 2025, due to the extreme cold weather.
Schools will remain open.
The temperature is expected to drop to minus 31 and the wind chill will make it feel more like minus 40. The cold snap should end on Thursday as the temperatures increase to minus 15 during the day.
School District 59 has announced buses will also be cancelled for February 5, 2025, in both Chetwynd and Dawson Creek. Schools will remain open.
