FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A Fort St. John play structure will be temporarily closed to be cleaned.

The City of Fort St. John Recreation Facebook page has said the Pomeroy Sport Centre’s Play Structure will be shut from approximately 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on January 23rd.

A crew will be on-site to give the structure a “steam clean”, the post said.  The Pomeroy Sport Centre has been open since 2010, is home to one of three indoor Olympic-sized long-track speed skating ovals in Canada, and can boast 140,000 square feet of available event space.
