Graham describes himself as an Area B resident in the Cecil Lake area. He has worked most of his life as a mechanic in the oil and gas industry. He now owns a small farm in the region and has served as the alternate director for a year.

“I believe some continuity in this position is key, and I have been very involved in the past year on the committees and societies that I currently serve on,” Graham wrote in his nomination documents.

Graham took over responsibilities from Area B Director Jordan Kealy, who resigned from the position following his election as the MLA for Peace River North.

The by-election will see voters choosing between previously announced candidate Madeleine Lehmann and Graham. Advance voting is scheduled for February 12th, 19th, and 22nd, with voting locations to be announced at a later date.
