Fort St. John RCMP bust two suspects in construction site theft
Two suspects are under arrest after being caught allegedly stealing materials from a construction site.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Two suspects are under arrest after being caught allegedly stealing materials from a construction site.
According to a press release from Fort St. John RCMP, police were called to a residential construction site in the 8900 block of 112th Avenue on Saturday, January 4th, at approximately 3:52 a.m.
Front-line police officers immediately attended and located the two suspects loading wood materials into a trailer attached to a Dodge pickup truck.

Both male and female suspects were arrested without incident.
The female was released with an appearance notice of late February.
Meanwhile, the male suspect, Jean-Paul Roberts, is facing charges of failing to comply with a release order.
The pickup was impounded, and Roberts also received several violation tickets under the BC Motor Vehicle Act.

Currently in custody, he will be in front of a judge on Tuesday.
Constable Chad Neustater of Fort St. John RCMP says the arrests are a result of vigilant work between a resident and the police, and that all items were recovered.
