BC RCMP continues recruitment initiative for North District
BC RCMP officers say a wide variety of job opportunities are available in rural, coastal, and urban communities in the police force’s North District.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — BC RCMP officers say a wide variety of job opportunities are available in rural, coastal, and urban communities in the police force’s North District.
According to a December 13th media release, applicants from BC can choose a “flexible posting plan” that allows them to return to BC after they complete their training.
“[The] North District is home to numerous limited duration and isolated posts,” says the release.
“These are more remote areas with fixed contracts that allow officers to either remain in the communities for an extension or apply to specialized units or other communities to gain more experience in their careers.”
