TELUS STORYHIVE is now accepting applications for their second annual Video Podcast program! Apply by December 12, 2024, for a chance to receive $12,000 in production funding, training, and a community of support to create an eight-episode video podcast series. Projects will also get distribution support and access to over one million viewers on TELUS Optik TV, Stream+, and STORYHIVE’s YouTube channel. No experience necessary—just a great idea!
Since 2013, STORYHIVE has funded 1,400+ projects, provided over $66.9 million in production funding and 162,000+ hours of training and mentorship across 270+ communities in B.C. and Alberta. “We’re excited to launch the second TELUS STORYHIVE Video Podcast program,” says Erin Shaw, STORYHIVE Northern B.C. Territory Manager. “Video podcasts empower local storytellers to share their voices and spark community-driven conversations.”
