Behind the Scenes
September 21, 2024, was the official Writ Day for the 2024 Provincial Election, meaning the election is officially started. While pre-campaigning has been ongoing since July 23, candidates and parties can now officially start their campaigns. Our goal is to be your #1 source of election information. For example, we have released articles on the key dates and how to register to vote.
We also ran a survey with our readers to find out the most important issues this election. As of today, we have sat down with Peace River North candidates Dan Davies and Jordan Kealy as well as Peace River South candidates Mike Bernier and Larry Neufeld. Political parties and individuals intending to run as independents have until September 28 to announce their candidacy so if anyone else steps up we will make sure to sit down with them as well.
As we get closer to October 19, make sure to go to energeticcity.ca/election for our full election coverage.
