The service advises the public to stay cautious and avoid having campfires during windy conditions or located less than three metres from trees, shrubs, structures, and debris.

The team also advises carrying a shovel and eight litres of water while operating an open fire and not leaving it unattended.

Category two and three prohibitions, which include fireworks, sky lanterns, and burn barrels, remain in effect.
