City of Fort St. John presents North Peace Peoples Choice Awards

Fort St. John council presented North Peace Peoples Choice Awards to the city’s best servants and institutions.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Fort St. John council presented North Peace Peoples Choice Awards to the city’s best servants and institutions. 

Among the awards presented during the June 24th meeting, Rebecca Bojczuk was named the best RCMP officer, and Alyn Stobbe as the best firefighter.

Council’s own Trevor Bolin was awarded the best city councillor.

Matt Trioiano accepted the award on behalf of Stobbe and said on a recent Community roundup that Stobbe is a valuable member of the department.

“There’s nobody here that deserves that award more than him,” said Trioiano. 

Fort St. John’s North Peace Leisure Pool was awarded the best swimming pool.

High on Ice was also awarded as the city’s best community event.
