Fort St John Today: Community Fundraisers

Hi everybody,

When it comes to fundraising for local organizations and people in need, Fort St John always steps up to help. This week, we have five fundraisers happening in the community and there’s even a chance I’m missing some. You can find more information on them in the list below but one I wanted to give a special shoutout to is the Child Development Centre’s Talent Show.

This is the 51st Talent Show that the Child Development Centre has put on to help raise funds for its services. The CDC is a great organization in the community that helps kids with special needs and their families. This year’s show is happening on Friday, March 15 at the North Peace Cultural Centre but if you can’t make it in person, Moose FM live streams the show. You can watch on their Facebook page​, FSJ Today’s Facebook page​, or the Energeticcity YouTube channel​. The live stream is made possible thanks to Arctech Welding with help from FSJ Home Hardware, FSJ Co-op, and Butler Farm Equipment.
