Fort St. John Provincial Court, February 27th, sentencing:

Dwayne Gerard Binette (born 1978)

Binette was sentenced for causing fear of injury or damage to a person or property for an incident in Fort St. John on June 9th, 2023. Binette was sentenced to a 12-month recognizance after the allegation, where the accused was given conditions to follow.

Roman Leska (born 1983)

Leska was found guilty of driving without reasonable consideration for an incident in Fort St. John on February 12th, 2022. Leska was given an 18-month probation order and fines totalling $1,150, including a victim surcharge, which goes towards helping victims of a crime.

Fort St. John Provincial Court, February 29th, sentencing:

Julian Broderick Brunsdale Bennett (born 1992)

Bennett was found guilty of causing fear of injury or damage to a person or property for an incident in Fort St. John on November 10th, 2020. Bennett was sentenced to a 6-month recognizance after the allegation.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court, February 28th, sentencing:

Rudolph Redhead (born 1965)

Redhead was found guilty of assault causing bodily harm for an incident in Dawson Creek on July 21st, 2022. Redhead was sentenced to jail time served, a one-year probation order and ordered to submit a DNA sample.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court, February 29th, sentencing:

Nathan Thomas Napoleon (born 1989)

Napoleon was found guilty of mischief of $5,000 or under for an incident in Dawson Creek on July 29th, 2022. Napoleon was given a one-year probation order and a suspended sentence, where the accused is given conditions to follow.

Fort Nelson Provincial Court, February 26th, sentencing:

Terrance Travis Dennis (born 1981)

Dennis was found guilty of breach of probation order for an incident in Fort Nelson on December 20th, 2023. Dennis was given fines totalling $515, including a victim surcharge.

Fort Nelson Provincial Court, February 27th, sentencing:

Riley Early Stanley Burke (born 1994)

Burke was sentenced for causing fear of injury or damage to a person or property for an incident in Fort Nelson on February 5th, 2023. Burke was sentenced to a 12-month, $100 recognizance after the allegation. If they break the conditions laid out by the court, they must pay the $100.

Fort Nelson Provincial Court, February 28th, sentencing:

Kayla Dawn Rose Tsakoza (born 1992)

Tzakoza was sentenced for causing fear of injury or damage to a person or property for an incident in Fort Nelson on March 30th, 2022. Tzakoza was sentenced to a 12-month, $100 recognizance after the allegation.

Tre Nicholas Blane Tsakoza (born 1994)

Tzakoza was found guilty of wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer for an incident in Fort Nelson on April 8th, 2022. Tzakoza was given a $500 fine.

Fort Nelson Provincial Court, February 29th, sentencing:

Dennis Edward Gairdner (born 1977)

Gairdner was found guilty of driving while driver’s licence is suspended, two counts of assault, assault causing bodily harm and breach of release order. The incidents occurred in Fort Nelson from May 6th, 2021, to August 5th, 2023.

Gairdner was sentenced to two years probation, jail time served, nine days in jail, ordered to submit a DNA sample, a three-year firearm prohibition, and fines totalling $975, including victim surcharges.

Derrick Donald Resener (born 1999)

Resener was sentenced for causing fear of injury or damage to property for an incident near Fort Nelson First Nation on April 15th, 2023. Resener was given a $200, 12-month recognizance after the allegation.
