Fort St. John drug trafficking investigation leads to one arrest

Information from the public on January 25th led to a drug trafficking investigation and a search warrant being issued for a Fort St. John home, resulting in multiple seizures and one arrest.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Information from the public on January 25th led to a drug trafficking investigation and a search warrant being issued for a Fort St. John home, resulting in multiple seizures and one arrest.

After a three-week investigation, Fort St. John RCMP executed a search warrant on February 15th at a residence on 98th Avenue.

During the search, police located and seized two safes, a gun locker, suspected cocaine, money and other items typically found in drug trafficking.

The RCMP says one person was arrested but later released without process. However, the individual could face charges in the future.
