PRRD approves temporary use permit for cardlock

FARRELL CREEK, B.C. — The Peace River Regional District approved a temporary use permit for a cardlock fuel station on a property near Farrell Creek during a board meeting on January 11th.

A 276-person worker camp, with its own temporary use permit, will use the station for a three-year term ending on January 11th, 2027.

The worker camp permit was approved in November 2021, meaning it expires this year.

After debating aligning the dates of both temporary use permits, board members voted in favour of accepting the permit as proposed.
