Moberly Lake resident Rudy Paquette won $500,000 after matching 4/4 extra numbers from the December 15th, 2023 Lotta Max draw.
CHETWYND, B.C. — Moberly Lake resident Rudy Paquette won $500,000 after matching 4/4 extra numbers from the December 15th, 2023 Lotta Max draw.
“It really hasn’t hit home,” Paquette said. “It’s still just surreal.”
Paquette was in Richmond for work when he purchased the ticket from International News on River Road.

He couldn’t wait to share the news with his wife, who was also very happy about the windfall.
Paquette’s plans for the money include a trip to Las Vegas for a golf tournament and home renovations.
“House renovations are the bucket-list item. I want to make it look new,” Paquette said. “All of the extras can come later.”
In 2023, B.C. lottery players received more than $38 million in winnings from the Extra and over $212 million from Lotto Max.
