FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Northern Health is warning of fake job postings claiming to be the health authority.

In a social media post, Northern Health said it is aware of multiple fraudulent job postings online that appear to be from the health authority.

Northern Health said fraudsters are using fake postings to collect personal information, such as addresses, social insurance numbers, and driver’s licenses.

The health authority asks northern residents to keep their information safe by ensuring jobs applied to are through Northern Health’s official website and verifying the recruit or hiring manager is associated with Northern Health.

Fake job postings can be reported to the Northern Health service desk at servicedesk@northernhealth.ca.
