FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John RCMP issued a violation ticket on Wednesday after a vehicle ran a red light, causing a two-vehicle collision near the Pomeroy Sport Centre.
Officers arrived on the scene and determined a vehicle headed north on 96A Street turned right onto 93rd Avenue and was struck by a vehicle headed east on 93rd Avenue.
The vehicle headed east on 93rd Avenue had run a red light at an intersection around 10 p.m.
Constable Chad Neustaeter said BC Ambulance Service assessed one of the drivers for a minor injury.
