Fort St. John RCMP investigating shots fired

The Fort St. John RCMP received a report of shots fired in the area of 104A Avenue and 112th Street early Tuesday morning.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Fort St. John RCMP received a report of shots fired in the area of 104A Avenue and 112th Street early Tuesday morning.

Frontline officers attended the scene and found shell casings in the area.

According to police, there are no reports of injuries, and they have detained numerous persons of interest.

“The Fort St John RCMP takes threats of gun violence very seriously, and the investigation will be ongoing,” said Constable Chad Neustaeter. 

“If anyone saw anything, has surveillance or dashcam video of the incident and has not yet spoken to police, please call us.”
