Local jet boat racers bring home trophies from Race the Joe
Two local jet boat racing teams brought home trophies from last weekend’s Race the Joe event, which took along the St. Joe River in St. Maries, Idaho.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Two local jet boat racing teams brought home trophies from last weekend’s Race the Joe event, which took place along the St. Joe River in St. Maries, Idaho.
Gord Humphrey and Jason Plaffy (Unnatural Disaster #357) won first place in the Unlimited class.
In the CX class, Stacy Kelm and Ty Wheat ( Xcalibur #95) won third place.
According to a BC Peace Country River Rats representative, the next jet boat racing event will take place in Grande Prairie from June 17th to June 18th. Then, the Taylor Flats 200 will kick off at Peace Island Park over the Canada Day long weekend.
