Bailey Regional Park receiving accessibility improvements
The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) is making accessibility improvements at Andy Bailey Regional Park and Campground.

FORT NELSON, B.C. — The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) is making accessibility improvements at Andy Bailey Regional Park and Campground.
Financial support for the project is being provided by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sports Destination Development Fund.
According to the NRRM, improvements include upgrades to washroom facilities, picnic areas and walkways, construction of a change room and a screened-in shelter, installation of a dock and beach mat and establishment of accessible parking.

The proposed improvements aim to promote inclusivity, said the NRRM.
The designing process is reportedly underway, and construction will soon follow, with the completion date estimated to be spring 2025.
Minor disruption to visitor access is anticipated throughout the project.
