The park is 75 kilometres east of Fort St. John and 51 kilometres north of Dawson Creek at 2098 Rolla Road.
The park has 32 sites for tent and RV bookings, with power and non-power options, and for those who don’t want to make an online reservation, eight additional sites are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Questions about the park and reservation system can be directed to blackfoot.park@prrd.bc.ca or 250-784-3200.
Local residents established the park with a crew of summer students in 1972 through a grant from the Province of British Columbia. The Regional District assumed maintenance ownership of the property by 1988.
