Online reservations available for Blackfoot Regional Park

Blackfoot Regional Park now offers online reservations as the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) has partnered with Let’s Camp.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Blackfoot Regional Park now offers online reservations as the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) has partnered with Let’s Camp.

Let’s Camp will allow users to view available sites, book and securely pay for their camping spot up to 30 days in advance, according to the PRRD.

Blackfoot Regional Park will open on May 15th and close on September 30th.

The park is 75 kilometres east of Fort St. John and 51 kilometres north of Dawson Creek at 2098 Rolla Road.

The park has 32 sites for tent and RV bookings, with power and non-power options, and for those who don’t want to make an online reservation, eight additional sites are offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Local residents established the park with a crew of summer students in 1972 through a grant from the Province of British Columbia. The Regional District assumed maintenance ownership of the property by 1988.
