Copeland hopes the kids learn how important science is and how far it can take them.

“They get to go back to their schools and be the rock stars of their school with their science medals and the awards, and then I hope they take that and build on it and come back next year and the next year and just keep going and going,” Copeland said.

“We have so many kids that have gone so far in their lives after coming to Science Fair.”
