Braden road vehicle incident results in serious injuries

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — A driver travelling up a hill along Braden Road on Sunday night rolled their vehicle, resulting in serious injuries.

According to Constable Emma Baron with the Dawson Creek RCMP, the vehicle travelled up a hill on Braden Road between Sanataa Road and Highway 97 North near Dawson Creek.

Baron says the driver rolled the vehicle, “suggesting that it was travelling at a very high rate of speed.”

A traffic analyst also attended to conduct an investigation. Police are looking at charging the driver of the vehicle.

Drive BC said Braden Road closed at approximately 9:30 p.m. on April 2nd due to a vehicle incident. The road reopened at approximately 1:30 a.m. on April 3rd.
