Huskies’ netminder commits to Wisconsin university

Fort St. John Huskies goalie Tyler McArthur has committed to the Marian University Sabres in Wisconsin.

The netminder was a key piece in the Huskies’ historic 2021/2022 season that saw them win the Senators Cup on March 19th and the Alberta Junior B Provincials on April 3rd.

McArthur went 21-2 through 23 games for the Huskies last season, saving 91.8 per cent of all shots faced.

He had three shutouts, and a 92.4 save percentage in the playoffs through 12 games.
