Dan Davies appointed as critic of Education for BC Liberal Party

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The BC Liberal Party has released their list of critics as the official opposition.

Peace River North MLA Dan Davies has been appointed critic of Education alongside Mary Polak.

“We were all asked for things that we would be interested in so I gave a list of some items that I would be interested in pursuing and of course having a background in education, it fit as one of the things that I would be interested in working on.”

Davies holds a Masters Degree in Education and a Bachelor in Education and has been teaching for the past 12 years.

Davies also added he is excited to get to work alongside Polak, who has numerous years of political experience.

“I noticed on all of the critics, they partnered up new MLA with a veteran so you can kind of lean on them for some of the advice. I know Mary quite well and I’m looking forward to working with her.”

Peace River South MLA Mike Bernier, has been appointed a critic of Health alongside Joan Isaacs while Ellis Ross will be the critic for Natural Gas and Petroleum Resources.
