Police searching for fraudster after stolen credit cards used in Fort St. John

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of credit card fraud and theft over $5000.

Police were advised that stolen credit cards were used to purchase over $12,000 in gasoline at various gas stations in Fort St. John and Taylor. The fraudulent purchases took place between June 6-11th at the two Shell gas stations in Fort St. John. Other fraudulent purchases were made at the Esso station on 100th St. at 93rd Ave, and at the Esso station in Taylor.

The suspect used two different stolen credit cards to purchase the fuel, and was captured on surveillance video.
