Mayor of Pouce Coupe resigns

POUCE COUPE, B.C. — William Plowright, the Village of Pouce Coupe’s Mayor, is resigning from his position.
Effective Jan. 4, 2016, he announced his resignation with the ‘deepest regrets.’
“Due to personal issues, I feel that this is the best thing for me at this time,” the press release writes, adding his thanks to the city staff and the people of Pouce Coupe over the years.
Plowright could not be reached for an additional comment.
