Freezing rain possible throughout the B.C. Peace
Environment Canada has issued a Freezing Rain warning for both the B.C. North and South Peace. The forecast calls for freezing rain to start this morning and it could continue throughout the day until the rain turns to snow this evening.

Freezing rain warning in effect for:
- B.C. North Peace River
- B.C. South Peace River
Freezing rain is expected or occurring.
An area of freezing rain will move across the B.C. Peace River region today. The freezing rain is expected to begin this morning and persist until tonight before changing over to snow.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
Freezing Rain Warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
