RCMP investigate robbery at Grande Prairie’s Igloo Inn
Just before 8 AM on Sunday morning, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Igloo Inn.
A man, armed with a knife, entered the Inn and demanded money from the receptionist.
The male suspect is described as being 6 feet tall, with blue eyes, wearing a light-coloured mask, a white or grey-hooded sweater, and blue coveralls with a yellow reflective pattern.
The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
He was last seen running eastbound across 100 Street, toward the parking lot of the Prairie Mall.
This is the third robbery in just two months at the Igloo Inn, an arrest was made earlier this month in another robbery.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
