Residents invited to public meeting for zoning bylaw amendment

The City of Fort St. John is hosting a public meeting regarding the amendment of Zoning Bylaw 2302, 2015.

The City received an application looking amend the bylaw for building two duplex dwellings – totaling 4 units – in the South East area of Fort St. John.

The area is developed with small lot/single family dwellings to the east and the south and duplex dwellings to the north and west.

The bylaw is to designate the subject land from ‘single detached and manufactured housing’ to ‘single detached and duplex housing.’

The public are invited to make presentations and present written submissions regarding the matter.

Copies of the proposed bylaws and related documents will be available to view at City Hall between 8:30 and 4:30, starting today until the 23rd.

The meeting itself is at 6 PM on November 23rd.
