FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A Pacific storm approaching the province is expected to have snowfall around the 15 to 25 cm mark by Tuesday night.
According to Bobby Sekhon with Environment Canada, November, on average, is one of the snowiest months of the year here in the Peace Region. On average, there is around 30 cm of snowfall.
The snowfall warning issued for the B.C Peace, Fort Nelson, and Highway 97 The Pine Pass is now in effect, with a large majority of the snow falling overnight and into Tuesday, tapering off by Tuesday evening.
The rest of the week looks to be usual November weather with some more snow possibly coming for the weekend.
