FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – Two men have been arrested and charged after Fort St. John RCMP found a male victim who had been assaulted.

Police responded to a “serious assault” complaint at a home on the 8800 block of 101st Avenue. There the male victim was found and received medical attention.

Two suspects, Matthew McCharles-Carter and Bradin Querin, face multiple charges, including Kidnapping, Assault with a Weapon and Forcible Confinement.

Police remained on scene at the home until Wednesday, when a search warrant was executed to locate additional evidence.

The duo remains in custody until a February 25th bail hearing.

The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and ask if anyone who has additional information in this matter to contact the detachment at 250-787-8100.
