VICTORIA, B.C. – The Northern Health Region added zero new cases Wednesday,  dropping the active case count to 62.

There are two people in hospital, both are in critical care.

There were no COVID-19 deaths confirmed Wednesday, keeping the regional total at 154.

Of the 7,770 confirmed cases in the region, 7,554 have since recovered.

There were 4,105 doses given in the Northern Health Region since Tuesday, bringing the total number of vaccine doses given to 189,397.

The province added 113 new cases Wednesday, moving the active case count to 1,454.

There are 134 people in hospital, 41 of whom are in critical care.

There were four COVID-19 deaths Wednesday, moving the total to 1,738.

Out of 146,674 confirmed cases in B.C., 143,449 have recovered.

The British Columbia Centre for Disease Control released the distribution of cases from June 6th to 12th.

Peace River North recorded 18 cases, Peace River South had 12, and Fort Nelson had one case.
