Site C job fair dates slated for the end of July

BC Hydro has announced the dates of a series of upcoming job fairs for those looking to get work with contractors for the Site C dam.

The fairs will run from July 28 to 30 in Tumbler Ridge, Fort St. John, and Chetwynd.

The sessions will include both ATCO Two Rivers Lodging Group, Hydro’s preferred company to build its 1,600-man work camp, and Morgan Construction, Hydro’s preferred company for north bank site preparation work.

Hydro says job seekers looking for work opportunities should bring resumes.

The job fairs will be held at the following times:

Tumbler Ridge — Tues., July 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Trend Mountain Hotel and Conference Centre.

Fort St. John — Wed., July 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Quality Inn Northern Grand.

Chetwynd — Thurs., July 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Cottonwood Hall of the Chetwynd & District Rec Centre
