Two Rivers waste transfer site closing at the end of July
Issues of increasing and ongoing illegal dumping is the reason for speeding up the closure date. The PRRD operates a number of unmanned waste transfer stations, and since they are unmanned, illegal dumping of hazardous waste is usually a concern.
It’s asked that people use the North Peace Regional Landfill, located at 7014-269 Road, and is open Monday through Saturday.Â
