Victims identified in Southridge Trailer Park explosion

However, out of respect for the families, authorities will not be releasing their names.

Fire investigators from the Fort St. John Fire Department are continuing with their investigation into the cause of the explosion, and are saying that due to the amount of damage to the trailer, it is difficult to definitively determine the exact cause.

RCMP Cpl Kate Bamber, says illegal activity does not seem to be a factor.  

“Police have determined that this incident is not criminal in nature.”

The Fort St. John Fire Department will continue their investigation, along with the B.C. Safety Authority as well as the B.C. Coroner’s Service.
