Local Women's Institutes co-hosting anti-Site C fundraiser
This week, they are teaming up with the Peace Valley Environment Association to host a fundraiser to stop B.C. Hydro's proposed Site C dam. The event will be held on February 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Burgers and Brews in the Econo Lodge, with proceeds going towards paying for consultants to analyze the Site C Environmental Impact Statement.
