Gamble sprints to bike club victory

Both racers completed the race with times of 1:46:28, with Gamble crossing the finish line with a photo finish win.

Les Elliot placed third at 1:49:04 and Gary Hilderman out sprinted both Pat Ferris and Richard Wood for the fourth place finish with a time of 1:50:11.

The day also included an abbreviated 30 km Bickford race, where Gord ‘The Hammer’ Harris beat out Richard Moody with a first place time of 1:03:48.

Riders of the local bike club will have a few days to recover from the weekend race, then it’s right back to the grind, as the club will hold another Baldonnel time trial this Thursday, April 26, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
