OGC signs memorandum with engineering association

The B.C. Oil and Gas Commission and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The memorandum was signed Monday and officials say it will help increase work quality and public safety protection.

The MOU is expected to promote cooperation between the two organizations.

Officials also say the MOU will better allow the APEGBC to license, register and investigate or discipline its professional engineers and geoscientists.
