Missing Fort St. John man found

The body of a missing Fort St. John man has been found.

Search teams from Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Tumbler Ridge located the body of Dwight Middleton near a well site off of Highway 52 on Sunday May 2nd.

The 47 year old has been missing since January, and his abandoned truck was found near the same well site the body was found.

Investigators believe it is the body of Dwight Middleton’s, but they will be conducting further examination to confirm his identity.

Cst. Jackelynn Passarell with the Fort St. John RCMP says foul play is not a focus of the investigation.

Middleton’s family has been notified, and they wish to extend their gratitude to everyone who helped located their missing family member.
