First baby of the year born in Dawson Creek
 Northern Health is pleased to announce that the first baby born in 2010 in Dawson Creek is a boy.
Maxon Cameron Tom was born at Dawson Creek and District Hospital on January 3rd at 07:46 am to mom, Alisa Jones and dad Jason Tom, of Dawson Creek.
Maxon weighed in at six pounds, ten ounces.
This is the second baby born in Northeastern BC. Â At 7:55am on January 1st, 2010, Andrew Zhang was born at the Fort St. John Hospital to mom Linda and dad Sheng Zhang of Fort St. John. Andrew weighed in at 7lb, 6 oz.
