B.C. votes to abolish HST

Over 54 per cent voted yes to extinguish the Harmonized Sales Tax and reinstate the Provincial and Government Sales Taxes.

54.73 per cent of voters in the province picked yes, while 45.27 per cent voted no.

1.6 million people voted.

The result wasn't even close in Peace River South with 59 per cent voting yes and 41 per cent voting no.
