Grande Prairie RCMP search for missing Toronto Girl

 Grande Prairie RCMP have been requested by Toronto Police Service to canvass public assistance regarding a missing 18 year old Mariam Makhniashvili

She was last seen on Monday September 14, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. in the Bathurst Street/Eglinton Avenue West Area of Toronto.

An unconfirmed and uncorroborated tip was received that Makhniashvili may have been seen in Grande Prairie on December 2, 2009 at 9:40 a.m. at a hotel on the bypass.  Police arrived to confirm the female’s identity and she had already departed.

She is described as five-foot-three, with light brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a light blue shirt and a dark blue jean jacket.
