FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A junior hockey prospect from Fort St. John will join a new provincial league as the next stop on his hockey career.

Fort St. John-born Micah Pimm has signed to play for the 2026-27 season with the Chilliwack Jets, according to a recent Facebook post from the club.

The younger brother of current Jets forward Ayden Pimm, Micah spent the past three seasons playing for the Notre Dame Hounds, the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame program in Wilcox, Saskatchewan.

Micah had one goal and three assists for four points in 19 games with the Hounds U-18 team during the 2025-26 season, which finished with a 2-28 record.

Founded in 2020, the Jets will play next season in the newly formed British Columbia Hockey Conference (BCHC), a league sanctioned by BC Hockey.

It was formed following the merger of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) and the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL), to replace the British Columbia Hockey League’s (BCHL) presence in the national Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL).

The BCHL withdrew from CJHL membership in 2021, with the now-independent league expanding into Alberta. The BCHC will be exclusively a B.C.-based junior A hockey league.

Chilliwack finished with a record of 28 wins, 20 losses and one overtime loss for 57 points in the 2025-26 PJHL season, losing to the Langley Trappers in five games in the first round of the playoffs.
