“Then we have a little car show just to bring everybody out, show off what they’ve done over the wintertime, you know, gets everybody out together and socializing, enjoying the nice weather.”

The post mentions that trucks, cars and motorcycles of all makes and models are welcome at the event. Cumming said there are several different trophies available to win at the car show.

“I believe it’s 17 different trophies to hand out, so lots of different categories, you know, bikes, trucks, cars, imports, muscles, all sorts of things because [we] try to branch out to everybody, you know, all sorts of varieties of cars.”

Cumming also said they will be hosting an additional event on the weekend.

“Autocross will be on Sunday, [May 31st], and if you don’t know what autocross is, it’s kind of like a mini racetrack that we build out of cones in a parking lot,” he said.

“It’s kind of like your entry level into racing, it also teaches great car control, so if a person is learning how to [drive], you know, a new driver, it’s highly recommended because it teaches you great car control.”

According to Cumming, the autocross race setup will take place on Saturday, following the car show.

The Peace River Motorsports Association and FSJCC also host Ice-X events on Charlie Lake.

The most recent event was hosted on February 21st.
