Temporary closure scheduled for Buick Water Station

BUICK, B.C. — The Buick Water Station will experience a service disruption later this month, according to the Peace River Regional District (PRRD).

From May 26th to 28th, the station will be temporarily closed, according to a May 19th Facebook post by the PRRD.

The PRRD said it is performing “routine maintenance” and the station will reopen for regular service on Friday, May 29th.

In addition to the temporary closure of the Buick Water Station, two other water stations are expected to close temporarily in June.

The Feye Spring Water Station will be closed from Monday, June 8th, to Thursday, June 11th. The Boundary Lake Water Station will also be closed from Monday, June 8th, to Monday, June 22nd.

The PRRD said residents can find their nearest alternative water station on its website.
